About Us
Bright Custom Homes is a small Calgary builder by design. We take on about six homes a year so the two owners can stay on every site and on every call. No project managers rotated in, no sales reps handed off to — just Jaswinder on construction and Sukhman on everything that leads up to it.

The builder who runs every site
Jaswinder Mahal has been in the trades since 2005, starting in drywall finishing. He founded Bright Custom Homes in 2014 and runs construction personally, with a 200-point quality checklist at every stage.
02 · SUKHMAN MAHAL
Your main contact from first call to keys
Sukhman runs client experience, pre-construction and pricing. He's your single point of contact for schedule, budget, selections and weekly updates — you never get handed off to a sales rep.
HOW WE WORK
A fixed price, set before you sign
We make every selection up front so the number in your contract is the number you pay. Most homes we build are $1M and up, typically $300–$500+ per square foot above grade. About six homes a year.
